Privacy
We design LoveMatch so you can meet people without oversharing. Here is how we handle your data.
What we collect
Account details you provide (name, email, birthday, gender, orientation, city, photos, bio, interests, and preferences), plus activity that keeps the product working — likes, matches, messages, and profile views.
Approximate location may be inferred from your city or device so we can show people near you. We do not publish your exact street address on your profile.
How we use it
To create your account, personalize Discover, enable matching and messaging, moderate photos and reports, improve safety, and communicate about your account.
We do not sell your personal information. Profile content you choose to share is visible to other members according to your settings.
Who can see your profile
Other members may see your public profile (photos, basics, and the details you leave visible). You can adjust privacy options in Settings after you join.
Messages stay between you and the people you connect with, except when our team needs to review a report or enforce safety rules.
Retention & deletion
We keep account data while your account is active. You can request deletion from Settings or by contacting support; we remove or anonymize personal data when we no longer need it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your choices
Update profile and privacy settings anytime, skip optional onboarding fields, and report or block people who make you uncomfortable. For security practices, see Security.
